Quality Problems And Solutions Caused By Unreasonable Installation Of Emulsification Pump

1. No water comes out after Emulsification Pump starts

Water does not fill the suction pipe and the pipe shell, and there is a lot of air in the pump body; the suction pipe is reversely sloped, and there is a lot of air; when the selected emulsified pump head is lower than the actual required head, there is no water at the water point; when the pump shaft is higher than the water surface of the suction water, if the water level of the suction pool is too low, water cannot be pumped out; when the emulsified pump is not in the right direction, that is, when the direction of the motor rotation is inconsistent with the arrow direction of the pump shell mark, there will also be no water. These reasons will cause the emulsified pump to not absorb water after operation, and the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge pointers will swing violently.

To avoid the above problems, when installing the emulsified pump, the slope should be greater than or equal to 0.005 towards the suction side of the emulsified pump, and it should be connected with an eccentric tapered pipe. Check the leak and block it; if there is a sand hole in the pump shell, use soft lead to block the leak or replace a new pump shell. Open the filling valve and fill the suction pipe.

2. Excessive vibration of emulsification pumps

After the emulsification pump is started, the unit and the outlet pipe vibrate severely and make loud noises, affecting normal operation. This is mainly caused by loose anchor bolts of the emulsification pump or unstable foundation; the pump shaft and the motor shaft are not concentric; the impeller is unbalanced; the outlet pipe is not firmly fixed with a bracket, etc.

To prevent the above problems, the following points should be noted when installing the emulsification pump:

(1) Tighten the anchor bolts or add shock absorbers. The installation requirements of anchor bolts are as follows:

① The verticality of the anchor bolts shall not exceed 10/1000.

② The bottom end of the anchor bolt should not touch the bottom of the hole.

③ The distance between the anchor bolt and the hole wall should be greater than 15mm.

④ The grease and dirt of the embedded part of the anchor bolt should be cleaned, and the threaded part should be coated with butter.

⑤ After tightening the nut, the bolt must be exposed by 1.5 to 5 pitches.

⑥ After the secondary grouting reaches the strength, tighten the anchor bolts again.

(2) Adjust the axis of the pump and motor to make them concentric or replace the bearings.

(3) Replace the unbalanced impeller, add a bracket (support), fix the outlet pipe; or add a rubber flexible joint.
