After purchasing CIP Return Pump, we may have some misunderstandings when using it. Today we will briefly introduce the precautions for using CIP reflux pumps. Please take the time to read this technical article.

① The direction of the driver should be the same as that of the pump;

② Find out the direction of the pipeline pump and the coaxial pump;

③ There should be no looseness in the fixed connection parts, and the specifications and quantity of lubricants added to the lubrication parts should comply with the provisions of the equipment technical documents;

④ Parts with pre-lubrication requirements should be pre-lubricated as required;

⑤ All indicating instruments and safety protection devices should be sensitive, accurate and reliable;

⑥ The turning should be flexible and free of abnormal phenomena;

⑦ The high-temperature pump should be preheated before the trial operation, and the temperature should rise evenly. The temperature rise per hour should not be greater than 50℃; the temperature difference between the pump body surface and the process pipeline with the working medium inlet should not be greater than 40℃;

⑧ Set up a connection device to eliminate the influence of temperature rise, and set up a bypass connection device to provide cooling water source.

The following points should be noted when operating the CIP return pump:

① It is forbidden to operate without water, do not adjust the suction port to reduce the displacement, and it is forbidden to operate at too low a flow rate;

② Monitor the operation process, completely prevent the leakage of the stuffing box, and use new stuffing when replacing the stuffing box;

③ Ensure that the mechanical seal has sufficient water flow for flushing, and excessive water flow is prohibited for water-cooled bearings;

④ Do not use too much lubricant;

⑤ Check according to the recommended cycle. Establish an operation record, including the number of operating hours, adjustment and replacement of stuffing, addition of lubricants and other maintenance measures and time. The suction and discharge pressure, flow rate, input power, temperature of the wash liquid and bearings, and vibration of the CIP return pump should be measured and recorded regularly.

⑥ The main engine of the CIP return pump relies on atmospheric pressure to pump water from a low place to a high place, and the atmospheric pressure can only support a water column of about 10.3m at most, so the main engine of the CIP return pump cannot work 12 meters away from the water surface.
