Cip Return Pump Maintenance, Failure And Repair
CIP Return Pump refers to a water pump that can be directly installed on a water pipe. Most of them are centrifugal pumps, which are connected to the pipeline with flanges. It is generally composed of a motor housing, a motor stator, a motor rotor, a sealing sleeve, a water pump housing, a water pump impeller, an end cover, a motor shaft, a filter, an end cover groove, a sealing rubber ring and a graphite bearing. It is characterized in that the sealing sleeve shields the motor stator and the motor rotor and seals them with a sealing rubber ring. There is a filter in the end cover, and there is an end cover groove on the end cover. The bearing uses a graphite sliding bearing, the water pump impeller uses cast iron, and the motor housing uses die-cast aluminum alloy or cast iron.

Smooth operation: The absolute concentricity of the pump shaft and the excellent dynamic and static balance of the impeller ensure smooth operation without vibration.
Watertight: Carbide seals of different materials ensure that there is no leakage in the transportation of different media.
Low noise: The water pump supported by two low-noise bearings runs smoothly, and there is basically no noise except for the faint sound of the motor.
Low failure rate: The structure is simple and reasonable, and the key parts are of world-class quality; with matching, the trouble-free working time of the whole machine is greatly improved.
Convenient maintenance: Replacement of seals and bearings is simple and convenient.
Less space: The outlet can be in three directions: left, right and upward, which is convenient for pipeline layout and installation and saves space.
I. Maintenance of CIP return pump
1. Maintenance during operation:
(1) The inlet pipe must be filled with liquid. It is forbidden to operate the CIP return pump for a long time under cavitation state.
(2) Check the motor current value regularly and it must not exceed the rated current of the motor.
(3) After the CIP return pump has been running for a long time, if the noise and vibration of the unit increase due to mechanical wear, it should be stopped for inspection. If necessary, the wearing parts and bearings can be replaced. The overhaul period of the unit is generally one year.
2. Mechanical seal maintenance:
(1) The mechanical seal lubrication should be clean and free of solid particles.
(2) It is strictly forbidden to operate the mechanical seal under dry grinding conditions.
(3) Before starting, the Triumph CIP reflux pump (motor) should be rotated several times to avoid damage to the graphite ring caused by sudden starting.
(4) The allowable leakage of the seal is 3 drops/minute. Otherwise, it should be checked.
