The degassed liquid returns to the liquid storage chamber and enters the impeller again through the reflux hole, where it is mixed with the gas sucked from the suction pipe inside the impeller, and flows to the outer edge of the impeller under the action of the high-speed rotating impeller. As this process goes on over and over again, the air in the suction pipe continues to decrease until all the air is sucked out, and the sanitary centrifugal pump completes the self-priming process and is put into normal operation.

General sanitary centrifugal pumps do not need to install a bottom valve when the suction range is about 5 meters. If it exceeds 5 meters, the suction range can be increased by adding a bottom valve at the end of the inlet, which can generally be increased by about 1 meter. Minimize the horizontal distance and number of elbows at the inlet as much as possible, especially 90-degree angles and continuous turns. Like centrifugal pumps, water infusion can effectively shorten the self-priming time. Now, large-flow sanitary centrifugal pumps have added vacuum auxiliary devices. There is no need to infuse water. Start the vacuum pump to exhaust first, and the suction range is increased to more than 8 meters. The large sanitary centrifugal pumps produced by our company use the latest semi-open impellers and spiral impellers, which have good anti-clogging ability and strong cutting function.
